We love flyers! We have many advantages of flyers that we want to share with you today.
Sherwood Studio has just submitted an order for several thousand flyers to be printed. Of course, we came up with the design (its what we do!) and we got it to print-ready standards by including a 3mm bleed and converting to CMYK (another service we offer!).
We are very excited, because we are working with a diverse range of people and companies who sell through eBay and Amazon and they have very kindly allowed us to stick one of our flyers in with each order when they are packed for shipping. We are also planning to hand out flyers to start-up businesses and businesses without websites across Nottinghamshire.

One of the biggest advantages of flyers is this very point, hence why it is listed at number 1. When you think of marketing mediums, you can go as deep as T.V advertisements, Radio, Social Media. Although you are, potentially, reaching out to millions of people, the cost to run these advertisements can be huge. A flyer can cost approximately a couple of pence per page. You send these out to the right audience and, depending on the service you provide, just a few sales will more than pay for your design and printing work.
2) They can attract a customer to read about your product or service
Bold titles and headings, minimal text, funky designs and high quality, relative images are key here. You want to catch the eye of your potential customer when they see your flyer and entice them to buy the product or service (or at the very least, enquire about it).
3) They have a larger reach and a bigger target market
The sky (and your budget) is the limit on how many you distribute. You can control who you target; from age groups, genders and occupations to name a few. These will be distributed worldwide, rather than our local city of Nottingham. This is a prime example of a larger reach.

This was already briefly mentioned in number 3, but there are many ways to distribute your flyers. Maybe you want to hand them out yourself in busy public places, which will allow you to discuss your product/service with the person face-to-face and build an immediate relationship with them. Other people prefer to do a large letterbox distribution campaign and send them to thousands of houses in various areas.
